Charter School Open Meetings Law: Charter school boards must adhere to La. R.S. 17:3976 and La. R.S. 42:11, which requires that every meeting of a public body shall be open to the public, except when closed according to law.


Announcement:

* The BCS Board of Directors and Committee meetings that were scheduled for Tuesday, October 22, 2024 have been cancelled. 


For the remainder of the year 2024, the Board of Directors and Committee meetings have be rescheduled. Meetings were originally scheduled to be held on a Thursday of each month. The monthly meetings will now be held on the following Tuesdays:

  • Tuesday, September 24, 2024
  • Tuesday, October 22, 2024
  • Tuesday, November 19, 2024
  • Tuesday, December 17, 2024
